When you buy SD-WAN or mobile solutions from us, we’ll include a carbon footprint estimation at no extra cost to you. So you’ll be better equipped to implement the tech in a way that limits the amount of carbon you produce.

 

Our carbon calculator is based on a model that has been certified by the Carbon Trust as conforming to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Lifecycle Standard. This allows you to use the data in your own environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting.*

How much does the carbon calculator cost?

Besides the normal cost of your contract, nothing. We won’t charge you anything extra for this service.

Who can get it?

Any organisation buying Virgin Media Business SD-WAN or O2 Business mobile solutions from us for the first time. Or existing customers renewing their contract.

How does it work?

It calculates the expected carbon emissions based on your specific contract with us.

 

We built the carbon calculator using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Product Standard and the results are always tailored to you with a mix of primary and secondary data.

Do you get a report?

Yes. We’ll send you a yearly report that includes an estimation of the carbon emissions our solutions have generated based on your specific contract and the tech you’re using.

 

The data is based on everything from manufacturing and logistics to energy used and any waste or disposal.
