You’ll need to have all of the following:
- Mobile devices and an operating system that allow the latest Teams app to be installed. Teams Phone Mobile is compatible with Android phones and tablets, iPhones and iPads.
- A Microsoft licence (E1 or E3 with a Teams Phone System add on, or E5)
- A mobile tariff plan and number from Virgin Media O2 Business. Not a current mobile customer? Contact us to try Teams Phone Mobile for free.

You can have both Operator Connect and Teams Phone Mobile in the same O365 tenant, but individual users can only have either an Operator Connect or a Teams Phone Mobile number.
You can choose the best solution to meet the needs of your employees.
Both Operator Connect and Teams Phone Mobile give you access to the PSTN to make and receive calls across all of your Team’s devices. Operator Connect uses a landline number, whereas Teams Phone Mobile uses a mobile number.

Yes. Teams Phone Mobile integrates into the mobile network and uses a mobile phone number.
You will still need to consider your landline numbers that are connected to legacy ISDN/PSTN services.
